WEB CSS crew v.floating images

    i dunno if they're called floating images or not... basicly what i need is for an image to stay on top of the page content and to stay FIXED on the screen as i scroll....

    I think what you're looking for is "absolutely positioned".

    ya but then the floating image scrolls with the rest of the content....

    i was able to KIND OF do it with an iframe for the content, and position: absolute for the images... but now i cant scroll through the iframe when the mouse is over the floating images.... any way around this?

    when i do that, it jsut sticks in between the page content.. so its not floating above it...

    This can be accomplished using absolute positioning, z-index, width, height, and margin.

    if you absolute position something make sure the div it is inside of is set to pos: relative

    where do i put relative...

    Try tagging it on the image.

    fixed position works fine in FF3

    I tried using fixed positioning a while back for a site and found that IE never supported it well. You may want to use the iFrame approach.
