I want something rock-solid and this seems like a better choice than an accord or camry.
my parents 04 grand marquis is the worst POS theyve ever owned
I remember reading something that it was used and previously wrecked though?
Anyway, they are rock solid cars get an 02+ model to avoid the plastic intake manifold which breaks
With a car as mass produced as the CV, there are bound to be a few lemons. I'd still have one in a heartbeat.
I've never heard of one going bad with less than 100k+ miles on it... my mom had one of the old 5.0L Town Cars... thing ran to over 300k miles before the tranny went out
good to around 130-160k with stock auto trans. With a B&M supercooler up front the entire drivetrain is good to 200k+. May need new timing guides around 120-140k.
The plus is if you ever want more power, virtually everything avail for 2V mustangs can go in.
This, I have a 9C1 and my buddy has a P71. Can't go wrong with either
i'd rather a caprice or a g body wagon if you need a land barge
I will be replacing my ram with a p71 next year. Going to try and find a cloth interior from a vic lx or grand marq.
For the weight and MPG I'd just get an explorer with the same engine in it. More room, more utility, almost as fast, and almost the same MPG.
can you get an explorer for 3k
true, but its still a heap. hate the car to deeeeaaaath
One that is practically as shitty as a 3k crown vic.
my friend, a 17 year old girl, drove a 91 Town Car for a year in HS. someone hit her rear bumper, their shit was fucked and her tank was fine
