    any of you guys do cross fit?
    how do i get started? do i have go join a crossfit gym? do i subscribe to the journal?

    It's a pretty awesome general workout program. I'd go as far as to say that most gym rats would do way better on a Crossfit program than whatever crazy shit they've thought up themselves.

    i used to do crossfit workout of the days a couple times a week, it's great stuff. give the WOD a try a for a week or two and see how you like it. you can do it with very little equipment usually.

    i used to do it religiously - now I just do it one or two days a week in combination with lifting.

    i just started doing it a couple times a week along with lifting. I like it a lot so far.

    i guess it's a bit intimidating because there isn't like a set regiment.. just a bunch of exercises.. just do WOD's as I go??

    Yes, the key is the crossfit.com video database. That way if you have any problems with any of the technique on the workouts you can study those and learn it.


    if you find my youtube account I think it's youtube.com/boozerwreckage I have a bunch of workouts that I uploaded.

    If you dont have access to kettlebells, rings for dips etc you can modify it in your own way, and choose workouts that you have equipment for or can macguyver something.

    It's the best workout ever, you'll never go to a gym again.

    just go there everyday and if you find a workout you dont have equipemtnt for just look at their archives and pick one

    man.. you dont understand how much traffic there is here.. it takes me an hour to get to training after work.. and i finish training at 10..

    at most i could do it one day on the weekend or something.

    i did it for a year and a half, but then took a few months off when i started my job. i have a kettlebell and a set of rings, but did my workouts without intensity and that is the key to crossfit. i'm getting back into it now and its funny how quickly you see results.
