My football practice was cancelled last night so I headed to the gym instead of doing sprints at the field by myself.
I went with the intention of trying one crossfit program I saw a trainer at the gym doing the day before. He mentioned he isnt' playing sports at the moment and that these crossfit programs keep him comptetive with himself and busy 3 days a week.

So last night I did the following:

    15 rep deadlift @ 154 pounds
    15 body squats
15 standing military press with 45 pound dumbells in each hand
15 dumbell swings with a single 45 pound dumbell
15 push ups (nose touching the ground to lockout)

    X 5

Basically, you run through the 5 excersizes 5 times not stopping, unless you have to ofcourse. It took me 15:34 my first time. I just wanted to finish. The trainer who regularly does this (much smaller than me) completed in under 11 minutes the day before.

Hardest cardio, anarobic, aerobic work I have done in a long time. I almost past out and was light headed for a while after.
I would recommend this to athletes looking to build muscle endurance as well as cardiovascular endurance ofcourse.

ehh....I've trained at a crossfit gym and most of the people there, although they completed the shit fast, looked like they had never touched a weight before....

I understand that but they looked as if they had never touched a weight. I know that different people have different goals but some added muscle mass in addition to the aesthetic benefits has a number of health benefits.

a lot of the crosstraining guys may not be jacked but then you see them do 1h pullups, or other variations of insane BW stuff and your jaw just drops

Did this specifically to replace the football practice I would normally be at - and let me tell ya, 15 minutes of that shit was far more taxing than an hour practice.
A lot of the athletes who play premiere rugby, soccer and even high level hockey perform this in the off season apparantly.

Its great conditioning but I would be careful with high-rep fatigued deads and squats

So you deadlift your own weight 15 times then do 15 squats with no weight?

No, you deadlift 154 pounds 15 times, then do 15 squats with no weight, and continue on to do the 3 other excersizes 15 times and then do it ALL over again 4 more times.

couldnt find pics on a google search but basically this.

    - Grasp one dumbell between both hands.
    - Drop into squat position with dumbell dangling straight between your legs
    - Keeping your arms straight (no bend in elbows) swing the dumbell above your head
    - Bring down and repeat

    no.

DB snatch is one hand and powered from a vertical leap with your hips.

This is a controlled movement where you are squatting and front raising the weight.

Yes, it is very taxing on your system. I was in and out of the gym in 20 mins - but felt fatigued for close to an hour longer.

No. Sorry. To be more specific you hold one dumbell gripped in two hands.
