i'm wondering if it's possible to do some kind of barbell complex or crossfit type program, 3 days a week, with the same weight.

a full body routine, 3 days a week, with the same weight.

maybe you choose 2 or 3 exercises per bodypart from a list of exercises but you always use the same bar weight.

    say you use a 135lb barbell for squats-standing military-frontsquats-powercleans-bent rows-whatever-REST
    repeat X 6

    something like that.

    thoughts? suggestions?

this would eliminate having to change the weights all the time and might even eliminate having to keep a bench and squat stands on my patio.

    :noes:

    yes and no.

i know what i SHOULD be doing - i should be sticking to the basics.

BUT, i dont have the equipment to be doing that. I could go back to a rippetoe type program - squats, deads, bench, power cleans, pullups etc. since I had great results from it last time but with the summer being here and surfing alot more often, the Rippetoe program is just too much to handle.

Rippetoe + surfing leaves me totally wiped out.

so, i am trying to figure out what kind of weight training program i want to start up that will not effect my surfing but might help enhance my surfing.

some kind of "surfer workout", i guess. i'm thinking core exercise stuff along with some endurance which, to me, = crossfit or heavy barbell complex's.

now i have to go potty and to a meeting 1.5 hours away. :hs:

    Honestly,

Squats, lunges, shoulder press, bench, dead, cleans, bent rows, front squats.....

The list is fucking endless, stop being a pussy.
