    Ok, since MacOS doesn't have a nice GUI based scheduler i'm stuck fucking around with cron. I hate this fucking program, but there no other way to make this work so I'm stuck with it.

    basically, what my problem is that on my hackintosh, the mobileme sync doesn't sync automatically, or at any interval. For some reason, it's broke and I don't know how to fix it, but I can manually sync from the command line.

    I wrote a shell script to invoke the sync utility and it works great from the terminal.

    When I schedule it with cron, it seems to run the script, but i get mail (system mail) saying that the dotmacsyncclient can't find the server and has timed out.

    I don't understand how this works fine if I type sh /Users/Trevor/dotmacsync.sh at a terminal prompt but not when cron does it.

    This shit is driving me insane.

    edit: my shell script
    Code:
    #! /bin/sh
    cd /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/DotMacSyncManager.framework/Versions/A/Resources
    ./dotmacsyncclient sync
