    He should be an announcer.

I would like to see him get fed a can just for one last LHK.

You could really see this on his face. Even his 'tale of the tape' picture. :wtc:

:uh: It was a joke. I was reflecting on his interview with Rogan after the Sanchez fight when he barely said a word.

I think he has just aged and outgrew his killer instinct. Im happy to see him be able to walk away and keep his pride. He knows he isnt a top caliber fighter, anymore, and he just isnt hungry enough. Still my favorite fighter, ever.

Sad about the whole situation. Its like watching the Nature channel and seeing the old lion getting killed or run outta his territory by the younger more testosterone filled lion.

He just doesnt have the hunger anymore.

Great statements by him and it should be an honorable goodbye.

You can't be elite forever and we need to remember that unlike many fighters, CC was a legit military man. That takes a toll on your mind and body long before you step into competitive training and fights.

Yeah there's got to be someone to troll the respectful understanding people here, good job on that.

Anyway, like I said, there aint no fighter more deadly than an agressive action pushing crocop

I'll NEVER forget when he blew the kiss, taunting wanderlei silva.. etc.

He was a badass motherfucker and I hope if he has 2 or 1 more fight on any contract with the UFC it's with a huge name.

That reminds me of Mike Tyson's post-fight interview in his last fight when he admitted that he didn't have the fire anymore.

    http://mmajunkie.com/news/16253/lac...-could-be-filipovics-last-in-organization.mma

DALLAS – While Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic's (25-7-2 MMA, 2-3 UFC) career-long reputation in combat sports as a feared striker will likely always be remembered, the Croatian undoubtedly wishes his time in the UFC be quickly forgotten.

Now after another lackluster performance in the octagon in the co-feature of Saturday night's UFC 103 event, it appears Filipovic's troubled UFC run may now be coming to an end.

"I'm not saying that I've ever been at the level of a Mirko 'Cro Cop' or any of these guys, but I used to fight," UFC president Dana White told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com). "You get to a certain age where you remember what you used to be able to do, and you can see all the openings. You just can't pull the trigger. I think that's where he's at."
