I would still like to see them fight again, but with Cro Cop's last few performances it just seems lackluster at this point.

    I would too.

This really could only hurt Fedor.

If he loses to Cro Cop then Dana and everyone will be laughing all the way to the back. "Well Cro Cop lost to our mediocre UFC guys, but beat Fedor. I guess he wasn't so great after all."

Fuck it. I just want to see dudes get LHKed.

  3. I hope Crocop is a big underdog on the odds. He's got a good shot at beating fedor.

I would imagine that he would be a decent sized dog. +250-300 ish maybe.

  5. I'd take that bet any day.

I guarantee crocop brings the fire if he fights Fedor again. and he's a very bad style matchup for the man and nearly beat him last time.

Why is he a bad style matchup for a guy that finishes most of his fights by submission and has good striking?

  8. because it's very hard to control crocop, and fedor is a control fighter.

He's extremely difficult to take down and his striking is more dangerous than Fedor's.

First fight didn't live up to the hype. CroCop has looked like shit in all 3 UFC fights(granted the one Sanchez ran away from him). I'm sure once he beats a couple of bloated Middleweights everybody will be riding his nuts yet again saying he's the best in the world and demanding the fight.

  12. You didn't like crocop/fedor?

I thought it was one of the most epic fights ever, and one of the few that COULD have lived up to the hype it has.

I agree with this. That fight was in a league of its own.

I liked it, but I didn't consider it to be one of the best fights ever, or even fight of the year caliber. To me it just didn't live up to the ridiculous amount of hype it had leading up to it.

I wonder why Cro-Cop just didn't go to M-1 instead?

Anyway idk if this is a good move on DREAMs part. Fedor will most likely wreck Cro-Cop.

  17. Well that's like your opinion, man.

disagree, see cro-cop vs gonzaga. Gonzaga took him down and so did Kongo. Gonzaga then proceeded to control him.

My question is what if they set up a fight for him if they cant get a date set right away to fight Fedor and Dream gives him an opponent and he loses ala the same way he did in the UFC?

    :dunno:

This is a smart fight for both. I remember Fedor making a statement sometime ago that Cro Cop was his hardest fight. People have to respect Cro Cops power, and sadly it wasn't seen in his UFC fights. I still believe Cro Cop is still an exellent fighter, just more weathered now. His previous loses could still play with his game, but maybe he can outcome it, he did well against Fedor years ago.

Fedor hasn't had a fighter stand in his way who has any headlining name. People are going to continue to question his p4p status unless he fights some big names. Randy and Cro Cop are the best possibilities he can ask for in solidifying his reign.

Hopefully this produces some decent competition for Fedor. He's probably sick of people saying he hasn't fought any decent HW competition in years. (-Hunt :o)

Why the Hunt hate? I think he is a pretty decent fighter. He's not top dog yet, but if he keeps on the right path he'll be something greater. He faced Fedor, could many of you actually survive that? Fedor is a great fighter who generally respects fighters power, In my opinion that is one fight Fedor didn't respect his power. He played a bit more with him, and put himself at risk a few times. I still think the outcome was inevitable, from the start though.
