[Do you think he will retire now? He was always talking after the OWGP that he would retire after a couple more fights (and that he would capture the UFC HW belt). Two losses in a row, didn't look so hot against Kongo. I doubt the UFC will renew his contract for big bucks and therefore I'm not sure if he fights.] :hs:

He seems tired of fighting. I think hes just happy he captured the OWGP title and only signed with the UFC cause they offered so much money. He really looks like he doesn't wanna be there. Oh well, he was still one of the greatest IMO, he just doesn't have the heart anymore.

He's a smart guy. Win or lose he's making bank. He probably just decided to put off retirement for a couple more years until this contract expires.

He trained his ass off and you are disrespecting him for saying he didn't.

I thought it was 4 :dunno:. If he trained his ass off and Kongo really did beat a game Crocop then maybe Kongo is someone to watch out for :eek3:

He looks to have aged so much. I don't know if that's just the light I saw him in during that performance or not, but he doesn't look good at all.

I never said he didn't train his ass off. I said his heart is not in fighting anymore. He looks nothing like he did against Barnett or Silva.

But now that you mention it, yeah I don't think he really trained his ass off. I don't see how that disrespectful to him though.

I am a huge Crocop nuthugger and I have to agree, it doesn't look like he wants to be in there. If he did sign with the UFC to pad his bank account before retiring then good for him. As a fan I do feel let down but if the fire to compete isn't there then its time to hang the gloves up.

I hope crocop dosnt lose motivation and brings his A-game to the next few fights. hes still a top 5 hw imo. but watching this really was depressing, even though crocop trained his ass off, cheik was the better fighter that night.

CroCop = No heart... As soon as the fight starts to not go his way, he basically gives up...

I don't think it has anything to do with the cage. He was unable to pull the trigger on his strikes, and looked lethargic and disinterested.

I'm so disappointed. Maybe now that expectations are low he won't be as nervous for his next fight and he'll be a little more like his old self. Or maybe im dreamin and hes done fighting. :wtc:
