Yeah, the technique is pretty bad here, but I like the composition.

i love ot art and photography

seriously though.. why don't we just take the 'art' out of the title and put in 'of cars and really boring city skylines with lense flair please'

Dude, just because it's blurry and black and white doesn't mean it's artistic. You shot it off the side of a ferry...there couldn't have been that much artistic vision there.

because to be artistic you've got to set up a tripod?

whatever, my point is that i chose for it to be blurry. i'm quite capable of setting up a tripod...

You didn't choose. You were on a moving ferry. Cut the artistic vision bullshit.

no, being artistic means having a vision and properly executing it, tripod or not. Blurry images CAN be art when the blur adds something... stop trying to pass off your mistakes off as art, it won't fly.

funny how you ask for a critique you get one you don't like and you argue it being "artistic style" :mamoru: :mamoru: :mamoru: :mamoru: :mamoru: :mamoru: :mamoru:

OT A&P is just one place on the internet to share your work and get opinions. if you really think it's bullshit, ignore it and keep shooting what and how you like. Or, see if there's anything you can learn from it.

Why is anyone arguing about the shooters intent? Does it matter? We have a photo, we've been asked to critique the photo, not the shooter.

    Anyway.

The composition of the scene would have made for a better static shot (i.e. not moving), and again, lower the ISO too much noise for the scene, IMO.

    Hi pigeon :wavey:
