if it was bigger and maybe a bit more contrast, I'd like it

    true.

It would be good to get some different positions, sometimes center shots are better.

or if he'd moved around the lighthouse, then he could have had it going up the left side, the building going along the bottom, and the blimp balancing the rest of the frame in the top right.

Probably. I've noticed that is often the first thing you suggest even if it is not what is needed.

but i think in this case it is needed, the picture would look better if it was taken at a different angle or not right in the middle, i just said it so people would look things up and read up on things to help them take better pictures, its just constructive critisizm, almost everyone here says "its cool" or "it sucks" but that doesnt help them make their pictures better, i was just trieing to point them in a direction to better thier skills, but i goes it was kind of a blunt way of saying it, and i think i only used that comment 2 times so far.

Its alright. The leading line of the lighthouse is great. I dissagree with the rule of thirds on this one. Though two things bother me. The lower right, and lower left corners. The lower right corner's light house is kind of out of place and distracting. And the people on the lower left bother me too. I know there is nothing you can do about it, but thats just me. And its kind of bland.

Thats my .02, and a bit more.

On the third one, you almost had what I referenced. Just a little wider or farther back so you could see the ground (and preferably a person sitting on the bench) and it'd be sweeeet.

I can see what everyone is saying about the rule of thirds, but I think in this instance it works because the lighthouse/tower draws your attention to the blimp. However, I would probably adjust the colors in photoshop to make it a little more interesting. I really like the last picture posted with the blimp off to the left though too.
