Don't worry about the fact that it's dirty and has a license plate on the front
well, wb is off, composition is pretty boring, location is not too good.
you need to shoot the car further back at a long focal length, and don't put the car in the center of the photo. change your angles and car position
Yeah the WB was an issue in that lighting. Are parking garages generally bad for car pics?
OMG another car in a parking lot, dude that is so awesome.
So they suck? There's nowhere better to go around here at night. Suggestions?
Having a dirty car for a photo shoot = setting sail for fail
Especially a black car.
I know but it's not my car / my problem
1. Cars dirty
2. car has front license plate
no but the WB is off. I actually kinda like the first one. but i agree about backing up and zooming in on the car.
So the main issue is just the composition? How is the exposure and whatnot? Is the WB in #2 ok?
parking lot pics can be good, but these arent. the frame is cluttered you have beams poking out of the car's hood and body in the pics. centered shots as mentioned above.
If you're using it as your subject in your shoot... it is your problem.
Like everyone else said, find a better location. It's difficult to get some exciting and different car shots...especially in a parking garage.
Watch poles coming out of the car, and avoid parking lines. WB can be adjusted in post if you're shooting RAW, too.
Not if you do it right.
Try to avoid bad reflections on the car too.
