Nice shot the only thing I would've done different is get a shot of the entire bridge in one shot and a shot of the city skyline in a second shot, slightly overlaping the pics when you take them, then merge them together in photoshop for a nice pano.

did you push the image in POST? because if thats iso100. it must have been a long as exposure to get that much noise.

was a 30 second exposure... looking through most of the other pictures I took that haven't been touched at all in post, it must be a result of the long exposure time

I'd lower the Aperature and try a shorter shutter.

#1 leaves me wanting more on either side, More cityscape, more bridge, less boat streak though

    Get noise ninja
    Dont shoot auto settings

#2. To achieve this better, get a black something you can quickly cover the lense with.. This will cut down on the streaks and make things look better

13 seconds on the city, take 5 seconds to cover lense (darkness), move camera, pull off cover and you'll have at least 11 more seconds to go, enough time for it to capture the bridge/city.

I'll have to find one of the ones i did like that and show you the example, it came out quite well, yours is decent, but i dont like seeing the streaks, and the blur from the move.

:dunno: still trying to learn everything the camera can do

I'm sure it being foggy out didn't help things either

the only thing that bugs me about the first image is the boat/ferry/whatever that left unwanted streaks in the image.

Nice capture. Only thing I would nitpick is the composition. Not sure I like the bridge ending right at the middle of the frame... like others have mentioned, it has me wanting to see more to the left or right...
