critique my squat

    one thing i've found is that i round my upper back a little throughout the entire squat so you might notice that. gotta fix that...it might stem from my posture.

    this is not my max btw....i felt like i could do more but i did a little too many sets beforehand. i'll max out next week and see where i'm at.

    imo nothing was wrong with that. not as deep as mine but I didnt see any noticable GMing it up. Thats nice lift at 170lbs too.

    Your elbows are too far back which will cause you to round over and fall forwards.

    If you'll wrap your thumbs around the bar, look up at a fixed point on the ceiling and push out on your stomach, you will do that weight twice as fast!!

    werd, a PT actually pointed that out to me when i first started squatting for weight and now i push my elbows forward as i squat, and now i dont feel the weight in my upperbody at all

    Nice. Squat > 2x bw.

    Good form. Most people don't go down that far, and therefore their squats don't count.

    I'v heard that you cant bring your knees past your toes... Is this true?

    When i focus on that, i feel like im going to fall backwards :hs:
