You mention losing weight and getting bigger almost in the same sentence. Which one are you trying to do?

The only up front problem I see with the routine is the order, that's all. Back has a bicep assist, so you're doing biceps effectively two days in a row. Shoulders are tricep assisted too, so you're double-downing on those also. Do chest, back, shoulders, legs, arms. That'll give a 1 day wait period before you hit a muscle group again, even from an assist.

thanks, ill switch to that next week.

I thought that doing back and shoulders back to back might have been overkill for upper back.

Depending on what part of your back you work, there is an overlap on traps. You'll most likely be fine though.

How can do you do 8 miles on your leg day? Do you run before you lift? Even then I imagine you'd be dead the next morning.

On my leg days I'm lucky if I can walk down a flight of stairs without falling, let alone running 8 miles afterwards :mamoru:

I always skip cardio on leg day personally... but whatever works best for you.

You must be eating quite a bit if you aren't losing weight on 8 miles a day...or you have only been doing this for a week.

Granted ive lost a bit of weight. But i think there may be some serious problem w/ me metabolizing food or something.

Honestly, i eat healthy, work out, and run mon-fri. Although i drink a lot of beer/alcohol and some nasty food during weekends.. it should still balance out >?

Depends how much you are eating on the weekends. If you have a net loss of -500 or so on a week day and then overeat by 1000 on a weekend day you have officially negated any improvement you have had for the week. You can run 8 miles, but if because of it you eat an extra meal a day you have pretty much negated that run.
