its not loading for me...
nvm loaded... but took awhile.
Logo is cool and unique but the font ontop sucks. Brown is kinda a shitty color ( no pun intended ). Besides that, it looks pretty cool. Needs more content though
Dislike the font, the color, or both?
I'm working on content.
Thanks for the comments.
logo looks cool but the font you chose for the text on it looks cheesey
i dont like the brown and the yellow outline.
everything else looks pretty good though.
this makes me want to pooooooooooooooooo
Anybody got any suggestions for fonts?
Lose the brown in the logo and you should be fine. Use either white or yellow for that.
IMO you need to get someone to make you a nice logo that you could use instead of just a font.
Not so good to have at the bottom of a business site
That's the guy who made the photo gallery (SFP).
Yeah, that's the guy that made the gallery script... I just modified it (pretty heavily). And the site is a farce.
Fixed now Jesse?
looks ok in firefox 3 and ie7
when designing it does not hurt to try it in several browsers
not sure what site it is, but someone should have the link that allows you to check out your site is different browsers and releases
A site like that would be nice to have. I've tried it on a couple different versions of FF and IE, but Jesse's the second person to have that problem.
thanks, i had it bookmarked and lost it
Ditch the yellow. It serves no purpose.
That font in the header is terribly placed as well as chosen. Go with a slab serif font.
The yellow will be tied in in the future... it's a color on the Jeep we're building. That's the only reason it's there.
I'll check out the slab serif fonts. What would you suggest for placement?
Thanks for the advice.
As far as a border, you don't want to use yellow with a black background. Hell, you don't want to use yellow for a border period.
If anything create a contrast with 2 pixels of brown and lighter brown.
I have become a fan recently of Archer and Clarendon as far as slab fonts go. Might want to check into those. Also, that header picture is pretty large. I'd reduce the height and maybe add the font to the top left. I don't like adding text to a picture though. It makes it look too busy.
