    315+Chains x5

365x3 - Always nice when the boards slide and hit you in the face midway up the second rep.

405x1- My spotter swears he didnt help, I cant tell from the video. I felt like I got it... but i dunno - Jury is out. I think I paused for too long at the bottom and I got a hammy cramp on the way up

Sorry about the file sizes and the .mov files, I filmed em all with my digital camera. All in all, I wasnt too disappointed with the lift today considering I havent taken CEE in a few days and my diet has consisted of beer and pizza since thursday :hs:

I dont get it, I feel like my arms are tucked when I'm lifting but they are flared as hell. what the hell

that board looks tiny... i'd think it'd hurt like hell if the bar came down too fast :o

lol thats happened to me before, with the boards sliding midway through your set. see if u can get a 2nd spotter just to straddle you and hold the boards in place :naughty:

noob question: how come you use those boards? is it for safety reasons?

    other than that, nice lift.

boards are to work the lock-out part of the lift. I will be benching in competition with a shirt on, so I really have to work on the lockout phase. On Dynamic days I go all the way to the chest.

Another option for keeping the boards in place while you are alone is using a mini band around your chest.

    The things I see
And i am coming from the experience of an arch back/powerlifting style bencher
    Arch more
    Tuck your elbows
    pull your back together
get the bar lower in your hands possibly, and grip uit tight
bring the weight towards your belly button
The bar should slide along someones arm if they where standing at the back of the bench and put there fingers on your sternum, it should be a straight line backl towards your head
the video angle is sorta weird too

thanks man. I'm working on getting my arch better - this is coming from flat bench and finally Ive worked up to there and will get better. I really need to take a day a week and just work form, I need to see what its like for a good rep with my bows tucked. thanks brotha

the hand trick helped me, it may be a little painfull for the person whose hand you use, but it helped man, it was great for visualizing/inderstanding bar path.
