    https://www.cdgcommerce.com/index.php

I recommend them VERY highly. The guy who runs it is an active poster on WebHostingTalk, and he's done right by pretty much everyone on there who has done business with his company.

There's also http://freeauthnet.com/ - free, until you cancel. Then you're hit with a $250 cancellation fee.

If you're using PHP and want to implement the merchant account on your own, you can check out http://www.merchant-account-services.org/article/authorize-net-php-integration, it has some nifty stuff.

Wow, the cdgcommerce site looks pretty good. I'm actually going to be needing a credit card processing method in the next few months... they seem to be pretty good :x:

For those of you going with banks... what kind of percentages are they taking and what kind of monthly or setup fees were associated with it?

I need something, was thinking about going with Paypal... My only concern with them is I've heard horror stories about them locking accounts and crazy stuff like that..

I would like to use Google checkout but I need recurring payments for everything.

For those of you posting authorize.net... don't you have to go through like a reseller or something? Who is that? Sorry, my understanding of the whole card processing online stuff is very limited.

EDIT: Actually I think I'll look into this http://www.merchantexpress.com/recurring_billing.htm with the http://account.billingorchard.com/web-host-billing.cfm addon. That sounds so perfect. I need to have recurring amounts but I also need to add additional charges once in a while also. Anyone familiar with these companies?

as i posted above, i went through www.bestmerchantrates.com and they got me setup with authorize.net. I pay $15/monthly fee to authorize.net, and 1.49% on debit cards and 1.99% on credit cards, not bad
