Newbie to all this, sorry in advance if I don't explain the problem clearly.

Bought a new HD, it's SATA 3.0gbps, the motherboard doesn't support this, it only supports 1.5gbps. Every time I try and install XP, I get the blue screen of death. I think I have to run a utility to change the HD to 1.5gbps, but I need to create a boot disc to get into DOS and then run the utility.

Only thing is, I don't a proper disc (with repair utility) that will allow me to get into the DOS screen in XP. So, I need to create a boot disc for XP, I don't know how to. Can anyone help?
