So, I just bought a kilo of PrimaForce Creaform (Creatine Monohydrate), and some R-ALA and ALCAR tabs. I've also got some caffeine pills lying around too. Right now, my goal is to bulk up. Coincidentally, it seems when I worked on "bulking up" while taking creatine last year, I ended up losing bodyfat and gaining weight. So my bulking efforts apparently made me lean up as well-- rather than getting bloated from the creatine, I seemed to shed a lot of water weight, and I still had some pretty significant gains in strength ... Anyways, so now I have purchased a bunch of creatine, R-ALA, and ALCAR and caffeine. My questions is-- when do I take these various supplements to maximize their effectiveness? Here's my idea so far: Morning Protein shake w/ oats and banana Multivitamin, caffiene pill, ALCAR (before morning classes to help w/ concentration and focus) Pre-workout 5g Creatine 1 ALCAR tab 1 R-ALA tab Protein and carb shake 1:1 Post-Workout 5g Creatine 1 ALCAR tab 1 R-ALA tab -3:1 carb-protein shake or meal (50g protein, 150g carbs approx) Is there any benefit to taking the ALCAR, R-ALA, etc. at any other time in the day?
