Creatine Question v.loading

    I've read conflicting studies that say your body can only absorb 5g of creatine at one time, per day, etc.

    I've also read studies that claim a loading phase is beneficial.

    I try to cycle off creatine for a month every 60 days, and I'm starting back on it today but unsure if I really need to load.

    Cliffs: Do you think a loading phase for creatine is needed or propaganda?

    Jury is out, but the purpose of loading is saturation, and the theory is you saturate faster laoding, than 5g-10g a day over the course of 3-4 weeks...

    My whole problem with loading is if you are taking it with dextrose, or using other carb loaded transport mechanisms, you are giving yourself 600 shitty carb loaded calories a day in addition to your already carbloaded diet...

    If you buy a straight powder, you are not losing out on much by loading...
