I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport that has 895 miles on it. It has a very annoying creaking coming from the right side of the dash, almost like a squeaking sound when the body flexes and when going over rough roads. Has anyone had this situation in their Ram? I'm wondering if this is a common problem with this truck. It's the first Dodge I've owned. Any input will be appreciated.

If you didn't want rattles or creaks... you shouldn't have bought a Dodge... Get used to it.

Turns out there is a TSB out for all 1994 - 2001 Rams concerning a creak/squeak coming from either the right and or left sidse of the dash. It's caused by the lower dash plenum rubbing against the A-pillar. It's a quick fix which involves moving the dash down and spreading the metal apart with a 1/4 inch chisel within a one inch area, then re-sealing it with 3M seam sealer. FYI
