pros play with no view models.

This is my favorite team frag vid for TF2 I think. Really like the editing and music. It's a euro-team though so haven't heard much about them.

No one I know plays with view models, takes up the whole bottom corner of your screen. Probably 99% of the comp community plays with no view models. Play without it for one day and you'll get use to it, it'll be 100 times better once you're use to it. I can't even go back to view models now, shit is fucking horrible.

I have a separate cross hair for each weapon and keep view models for melee only. I use Flame's HUD and made some tweaks to it. Also changed the color of damage numbers and made it stay up for 4 seconds so it's easier to call out damage.

Alot of the stuff in my screenshots is pretty normal for comp play. Makes things alot easier.

And yes, I always keep netgraph 1 on also in the bottom right corner.

Exactly what it looks like when I solly:

part of your class config file.

    For soldier for instance it's:

    alias rocketlauncher "slot1;cl_crosshair_file crosshair3;cl_crosshair_scale 30;cl_crosshair_red 0;cl_crosshair_green 255;cl_crosshair_blue 0;r_drawviewmodel 0;viewmodel_fov 54;MW1"
    alias shotgun "slot2;cl_crosshair_file crosshair5;cl_crosshair_scale 21;cl_crosshair_red 255;cl_crosshair_green 0;cl_crosshair_blue 128;r_drawviewmodel 0;viewmodel_fov 54;MW2"
    alias shovel "slot3;cl_crosshair_file crosshair3;cl_crosshair_scale 34;cl_crosshair_red 255;cl_crosshair_green 0;cl_crosshair_blue 128;r_drawviewmodel 1;viewmodel_fov 54;MW3"

    alias Q1 "shotgun"
    alias Q2 "rocketlauncher"
    alias MW1 "bind mwheelup shovel;bind mwheeldown shotgun;bind q Q1"
    alias MW2 "bind mwheelup rocketlauncher;bind mwheeldown shovel;bind q Q2"
alias MW3 "bind mwheelup shotgun;bind mwheeldown rocketlauncher"

    bind 1 rocketlauncher
    bind 2 shotgun
    bind 3 shovel
    bind 4 slot4
    bind 5 slot5

    rocketlauncher

Different for other classes. You can see the draw viewmodel command for 0 or 1 in there, then the other stuff is for having a different crosshair for each weapon.
