i binned it hard on a jump monday. broken collarbone, fractured c7, decent concussion, lots of rash. was riding a friend's xr400/426, which is now in impound and gonna cost several hundred to get out. c7 fracture wasn't too bad, not threatening to my spinal cord. I was in 2 hospitals for a little over a day, but am out now.

Sucks dude, heal up quick.

I wouldn't take back any of my injuries for the ammount of fun I've had though. Choice we make. Better than getting ran over by a semi :wiggle:

So what exactly happened? I ate shit off a loading dock once and rode home with a fractured arm because I didn't want to wait around for people to ask me what I was doing.

I know I went for a small double and crashed. Not sure what exactly went wrong. No way I could've ridden home, don't think I could even really stand.

A guy fell on my road and tumbled about 100' and ended up at the end of my driveway. I called 911 immediately, but by the time the ambulance/police got here the guy was standing next to his bike, trying to start it.

He thought he had the cop convinced he was just going to ride home, but the cop walked a few feet away and said "put the bike on the kickstand and come here please." As soon as he let go of the bike, he fell flat on his face. Wrecker picked up the bike (it was trashed), ambulance took the guy on a stretcher. He was fucked up, but so out of it he didn't know how fucked up he really was.

Impound? I smell something fishy. Why didn't your insurance co. send out a wrecker to pick up your bike? Do you even have insurance?

The bike had liability coverage, not full insurance. IOW, coverage for damage done to other things but not to it. After all, it's a 12 year old dirtbike...

and I'm doing quite a bit better now, rash is all healed up.
