I have an older computer that I want to replace the heatsink on. I pulled the 2 retaining clips off (P4 socket 478). Try to twist the heatsink a little the brake it free and it wont budge. It acually pulled the chip out of the ZIF socket. So now I have a chip stuck to a HS that I cannot remove. Any tips?

I usually just use a flat head screwdriver to get under there, then rotate it 90 degrees. That seems to be the most harmless way to do it.
