hey, i was wondering if there's any way to keep the cpu usage % down cause it's causing feedback onto my speakers? did that make sense? i'm on a P4, winxp....if that helps....it's really annoying, half the time the cpu usage is at 100% and it's not normal...and i've noticed the feedback on my speakers come only when that happens

i've had this happen to me with my audigy2 card. I think it's something with the IDE controllers on whether you use PIO or DMA. Microsoft switches to PIO after failing at DMA. I have no idea what this crap does. I just formatted.
