    I agree with you.

    Many have given up things to join. What makes him any different.

    Other than the fact that he's a fellow Marine, I could care less about him.

    What, does the national media suppose to give all of the recruits a little story in the paper? Do you know how big the paper would be?

    Your hometown paper probably mentioned it if somebody sent in the info. He's a public figure that a lot of people would recognized so he would be in the bigger media outlets whereas if they put your story in, millions would go, "Who dat?"

    I just did a google search on him to find out his NFL stats and whatnot, and it seems he hasn't played in the NFL since 2003 :dunno:. What's was he doing during the 2004 and 2005 NFL seasons?

    obviously boot camp didn't work, he still said solider instead of Marine
