All taken w/ 70-200mm F/4L back in March.
4th one (http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3093/2843180254_f8b0513fac_o.jpg) is a winner.
Something doesn't look right on the last pic though. Perhaps too much contrast or something, not sure.
I wish I had the RAWs, but I can't find them lol. All I have are the full-size JPGs. Epic fail on my part.
Oh snap, these are the originals?
I want whatever cam and lens you have
They're not original, but they're not RAWs. They're just edited JPGs.
I think maybe if the blurry foreground was cropped out?
Anyone else wanna give C&C? I always see threads w/ huge amounts of C&C
The last pic is the only pic that I feel is properly exposed.
Now this is my kind of thread.
Try to get down at eye level with the coyote
It wasn't possible, these were all shot from a horse-pulled sleigh thing.
What's wrong w/ the exposure on any of them?
Here's my 2 cents... Technically I think they are fine (focus, exposure, etc.) – however they are lacking in composition. It sounds like you didn't have much of a choice though. I would think the photos would be much improved if you got in closer, but I guess you only had so much zoom with the 70-200mm. Maybe a different crop would bring more impact.
Just out of curiosity, are you adding the vignette to the photos in PP?
Yeah, there's some vignetting on a few, if not all, added in PP.
