if it doesn't involve scary looking assault weapons, where to buy bulk ammo for said assault weapons, defensive pistols and shotguns to be used against no-knock raids, or anything related to the coming breakdown of society or zombie apocalypse, then ya, probably won't get any worthwhile response here.

Most people I know who hunt them use wounded rabbit calls.

I've got 4 or 5 of the PRIMOS calls. Haven't really practiced much with them though. Every time I go out for coyote a hog or deer shows up:rofl:

My dad uses a combination of several different calls. I don't know what they are exactly, but that asshole sure can call in some yotes. Bobcats, hawks, and owls usually respond as well. It's funny watching the hawks divebomb him.

just got back from coyote hunting

    to no avail

id use a decent electric call. Has to be pretty loud to attract them. They should come with a variety of calls. Im out here in IL for the holidays and you are aloud to bait them. See if you can find some roadkill to put on the plot you are hunting. As for hand calls, go to a local hunting/outdoors place and ask them what works where you are at - they should be able to tell you. If possible, try to get a higher vantage point than the treeline you are trying to lure them out of, and make sure to stay very still as coyote's tend to be very cautious and will get skeered away at any slight movement.
