So I am having lots of trouble deciding how to finish my side piece! It's driving me crazy. The lotus flower in the middle is a redo, of an old tattoo done about 5 years ago.... now I really wish I had maybe just started the side piece on my other side, because working around an old tattoo is impossible!

I love the cherry blossoms.... but the lotus flower is just so out of place. Do you think it's possible to cover up the lotus flower? If yes, what do you think I could do??

to cover it you'd have to go darker? and that might look really out of place

In my opinion I'd outline the cherry blossoms with black. They sorta seem out of place with the lotus flower (which is outlined). Just that would make it flow more nicely.

I think you could turn that into a nice solid piece by adding lots of green and or colorful plants in there. If it was a big floral design the lotus would work just fine imo.
