At 21 I got a tattoo of a cannabis leaf. 10 years later and i got it covered up with some tribal patern.

The outside looks IMO fine (not great) but on the inside the guy coloured it in in black.

Is there anyway to shade it so it doesn't look quite like someone threw some paint on?

WOn't be going in India again, was planning on waiting till I get to London.

Anyone help me out here with ideas and names of good artists in the London area?

Post a pic to get responses that would help mate. That way we all know what we are dealing with. People on here are usually good with their hints and tips.

If it's colored in solid black then you're stuck with solid black. Only real option is laser removal.

Will white not lighten up areas so it isn't just solid black?

    Ok, laser it is.

How hard to remove? Doesn't need to go all together just fade quite a bit.

Does it help to get it done ASAP?

Tattooing isn't like a coloring book. Going over one pigment with another won't always lighten/darken other colors. Hammering white into your skin will fade it slighty but it could take numerous sittings to have it done as well as waiting periods between tattoo sittings. You're much better getting it lasered as soon as possible.
