He picked Sylvia to beat Minotauro and as far as I know he hasn't guessed wrong on a fight yet

He predicted Griffin over Shogun, Gonzaga over CroCop and a few others that escape my mind right now.

What other fights has he predicted right and more importantly wrong?

I'm almost tempted to put money down on Sylvia if he's been correct in his picks...and a little piece of me (my wallet) dies everytime I go against him.

  5. I'm going to put money on him if he stays the underdog. first time I bet on a MMA fight.

although I really really wanted to bet on Aoki when he was +280 vs. Jason black.

How much are you putting down?

  7. Oh not a lot to be sure $50-100.

I'm not one of those guys that loves the thrill of betting. I just want easy money, and I think a Sylvia underdog bet is a good way to make it, considering I think he should be favored.

This is all assuming that bet-us verifies my information by then.

You'll get hooked on it sooner or later. :wiggle:

I started betting on UFC matches with a wall of $2K max and now I'm up to putting up $3.5K per card max.

No such thing as free money -- I learned that the hard way when GSP lost at -1100. :wtc:

I don't consider it a gambling problem when I'm up a shitload of money from last year and the only card that was a huge hit for me was UFC79.

He was a little skiddish when he made that pick by saying Chuck would win if he did this or that or whatever.

The other picks were definitive if I remember correctly.

i dont know how you could think that. He has a good record, cant remember what it is, btu he has called some really big underdogs on fights correctly.

I want Nog to win, but i wouldnt put money on him.

Couture doesn't have a particular amazing record, it's just he's picked several major fights correctly.

I don't think he's picked that big of an upset yet, upsets of the likes of Sokoudjou v Noguiera, Alexander v Jardine.

  18. Gonzaga vs. Crocop and Forrest vs. Shogun would be the biggest I can think of.

Yeah. The Forrest one was the biggest one, and Couture had "inside information".

I have to say making picks are exhausting. I've retired from MMAPlayground because I hate having to remember to make my picks. I came 2nd in both seasons though so at least I retire with some silverware :Ownedd:

For this card, Eastman, Horn, and Mir are all underdogs.

I think I've lost roughly $2.5K going against Couture's picks but yet again I'm going to pick the opposite.

Here's to hoping he's wrong and a fatter wallet for me.
