 Well Gina's problem is she isn't Randy and I'm starting to think that guy shouldn't be giving out advice anymore. That's two of his fighters that showed some lackluster game plans. Gina wasn't really even using footwork in the beginning she was slowly walking back and not even on much of an angle at all . Cyborg really isn't technically sound, she is better than me, but she throws a lot of wild punches that Gina could and should have capitalized on.

I just don't understand why she didn't fight for that dominate position she had twice. I know Cyborg is versed as fuck in BJJ, but that's about the only chance she had to do any damage or find a sub.

He will probably go out with the same plan on Nog, which will probably fail as well.

I've always wondered why the hell people talk about what good gameplans Randy comes up with. The guy goes and strikes with guys like Pedro Rizzo and Chuck Liddell. Then he'll go and try to out wrestle guys like Mike Van Arsdale and even Brock Lesnar. I forget how the Jeremy Horn fight went, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if he tried to submit him. Those are good gameplans? :hsugh:

game plan wasn't the issue. forrest didn't even have a chance to follow one and gina just didn't follow through. she got caught up in the moment and just started brawling with someone bigger, faster, and stronger.

Ya that's what I don't understand though. Why would you want to stand with someone who is getting in more shots? I agree with Forrest, he tried a few things and when he got caught, he went brawl mode.

Gina looked really hesitant to throw anything and wasn't really using her footwork. I guess she got caught up in the moment, but I'm surprised she tried to brawl, instead of trying to calm herself down and find openings.

I know this is a bit off topic, but do you have any more fights coming up?

it just happens in fights sometimes. you get caught up in the moment and the pressure and adrenaline takes over. you get sloppy and you just go for broke. she wasn't consciously thinking "oh i guess i'll just stand and trade and see what happens"

    Yeah you're right. :hsd:

I just expected a more calm and calculated Gina. I knew she wasn't going to win, but I wanted to see some better technical striking from her :hs:.

looked like she was scared from the minute the bell rang. You don't give up a full mount if you think you have a shot at winning

He knocked out the iceman the first time around, he tko'd rizzo and went to a decision with him, in which he brawled. He chocked out Mike Van Arsdale, he even had lesnar a younger, stronger and out weighs him by 50 lb man, pinned up against the cage dirty boxing him.
    THIS MAN IS MY HERO
You gave some shitty fucking examples of bad game plans.:mamoru:

I think it's possible he was pointing out that while Randy did well, he did well based on his skill and his talent as an overall complete fighter.

Could be he gets credit for his amazing smarts and gameplans when really he was just that good :dunno:

keep in mind you get to announce your gameplan -after- you win the fight. :mamoru2:

The point is that anytime you fight your opponent's fight, your gameplan sucks. Period.
