it was a nightmare with the lighting though.. but atleast the bride/groom had a good weather for their wedding... I would have preffered it to be overcast.

A great first effort. I especially like the perspective on #5.

Seems a fair amount of noise in some of them. Is this intentional?

I like 2 & 4, though in 4 it looks like the bridge and groom are leaning downhill.

  13. I was lucky enough to have overcast skies on saturday at mine :)

If you have a problem with harsh light and you have an assistant with you have them hold a reflector or diffuser between your subject and the sun. Reflectors can be great sun blockers too! :coold:

Also as mentioned, the grain, what film speed did you use? I woudln't worry about it, most people like that effect sometimes. Your colors came out great!! Also doing your first wedding with film = you got balzz  But then again you shoot primarily film anyways, but 90% of OT, including myself, are not good enough to do what you just did

thanks... I'll probably do a few more in film too, but eventually, I'm going to have to go the DSLR route.... I didn't charge them much because A) the bride is a friend of the family and B) it was my first wedding.... but $140 for the film and just over $200 for the processing... I didn't make jack shit.

  15. charging under $500 for a wedding even if it is your first and it's for friends is a total rip off, especially if you're doing film. I hope you realized this before you agreed to do it.

yeah.. I only charged them 500... but, they don't get any pics at all unless they buy prints, so I should recoup some money there.... I know they didn't have a lot of money, and I don't think her family really approves of this marriage, so they were paying for everything themselves.... if it was a complete stranger I wouldn't have given 2 shits, but.....

tiny bump in saturation and curve adjustments. Most of the color though is coming from the film.
