are you on DPreview forums? I swear I've seen that last picture before.
first one is very cool. love the colors
no, i'm not on that forum. I took that picture on the 6th at the Musee d'Orsay in Paris.
The only ones I like are the Wine Cellar, Caesar on the horse, and the clock.
Caesar on the horse is the best
freaking sweet photos not that you can change it now but i'd like to see the first one with the plant in the whole picture and areas of the blue sky peeking through. i'd love to take pics like that but the weather is all ass-backwards in longview (sunny in winter, cold in summer)
this is the other shot i have of that plant.
Nice pics. I think caeser and the horse would be better if it was focused on caeser...looks good nonetheless.
you should have left the shutter open a little longer in the one below the wine cellar. The headlight streaks from the cars would have looked better and the building in the back left would have been more lit up.
I love the last one
There seems to be a lot of underexposure in all of your pics. I think a tick higher ISO or slower shutter would have helped.
You should also remember that when using a digital camera it under-exposes 1 stop..... turn on your highlight alert and when it's starting on blink that should be your true exposure.( usually one stop over what the meter says)
I noticed the under exposure. When I had some printed it wasnt nearly as bad, is that normal?
Really like the composition in the 4th pic. The person in the forground really makes for a nice touch. The vanishing perspective is great.
I always set my d70's exposure comp to between +1 and +2, depending on what's on it. It's only at 0 when it's REAL DAMN BRIGHT outside.
i think those shots are brilliant.
very nice work
