I am not sure what to make of this film.... I do like the 70's retro look of it, but I cant make a decision since the lab fucked it up while developing. When I got the negatives back, they had a very severe green tint to them, and the image on the negatives were very thin due to developing errors at the lab, not to mention, the scanned images had very little color (when this film is supposed to have rediculous amounts of color).

It took ALOT of photoshopping to get them to look halfway normal, so I cant really make a decision on how good the film really is.

The exposure was pretty much spot-on with all of these, but when I got the negatives back from the lab, they were all screwed up. all the samples I have seen in the past ha very vivid colors, yet had a decent color balance, where these are quite a ways off.

The lady at the lab said she has never seen the type of film before, and they develop with agfa machines, so I dont think I will be giving them any more business.

I have one more roll I am going to try and see what the results are.

1st and 3rd are either over exposed or really poorly PSed. Even so, remember that colors are more vibrant when they are darker.

you also have a lot of grain/noise that isn't that flattering.

shoot a gray card correctly exposed and lit properly

i'm not 100% positive it can be done properly on neg film, but with chromes you can use your labs densitomiter and read the values. It should be .80. That would be one way to see if its the lab or you etc

did you set the camera to the right iso?

    was it pushed or pulled?

you can ask to see the labs stats for when it was run to see if the chemicals were within tollerence etc
