My relative recently gave me a Toshiba Satellite L305-S5955 because its screen was cracked and they didn't want to deal with getting it repaired. So instead of just throwing it out I figured I would just strip it down and see if I can get any money for some of its items like the RAM, Hard Drive, Battery & Charger and maybe even the CD/DVD drive.

I'm not too knowledgeable on how much these types of things go for and I can't find much on google regarding the ram and shit.

Here are some pictures of the stuff.

you're unlikely to get much for those parts. Ram is about $25/GB for the ones you have listed, a new 320GB HDD for a laptop would be about $60 (with a 3 year warranty).
Battery and power adapter might get you $30 or $40 on ebay or CL.

Ebay would be your best bet to see what things are going for or see if you can sell it as is on Ebay.

You could probably spend about $100 and put a new screen it it and sell it complete.

Probably get more from parting it out. As for a whole? if someone came into my office and asked what it would cost to repair it but decided not to repair it and asked $50 for it yea I would buy it.

What prices do you think I should list them as on eBay? I'm not sure if I want to do an auction but rather just Buy It Nows.

What kind of processor does it have?

Does it work fine besides the cracked screen?

Any pics of the whole machine?

    I'll take it for $50...

Well in my friend "helping" me disassemble the laptop he broke a bunch of shit and so its retarded (100 pieces) and in the trash now. So that's out of the question. Still wondering what I should set some prices around :hs:
