1st ones were an experiment trying some different lighting... these are more "conventional" :)

I love my Tamron. Puts my expensive L glass to shame.

    Nice work!

You would pick the tamron up over the 24-70L?

#1 makes her cheeks and jaw line look bloated.

I really like #2 though. Really like.

Yes. The difference between 28-75 and 24-70 isn't enough to make me lust after the Canon lens. The Tamron is much, much cheaper and quite sharp throughout it's entire focal length and f/stop range.

:bigthumb: You can use that savings towards a 70-200 f/2.8 IS lens now.

the only thing that sucks about the tamron is the AF is painfully slow, and loud.

speaking of the tamron, i need to send mine off to be recalibrated or something. mine is no where near as sharp as all the others i'm seeing. is that covered under the warranty and do i send that back to them directly?

My copy isn't all that loud, at least not as loud as it's 90mm macro brother. The AF is a bit slower than my L lenses but not so slow that it's distracting.

Really good work, man, these are a lot better than the first ones. I actually prefer the second one just cause I like shadows, and the PP is pretty cool too.
