    I never really understood the hate on that car. Sure, it resembles a clown shoe, but its still :cool:

    Until rod bearing faluire,

    Just kidding nice car had a S54 powered M3 motor took a dump. Now enjoying a M52 Motor that has much less power but awwwa it starts every morning.

    haha, true true. I'll be doing an oil analysis as soon as I change the oil. Im nervous, but I have another 2 year/50k miles to make the engine blow up, heheh. Its a hell of a motor though.

    No reports of Mz3s S54s going. The fuel cut is less then on M3s. So don't sweat it enjoy the shit out of the car.

    E46 and early E36s had that issue. He has the old E30 rear suspention. So the only thing he has to worry about it the diff ripping out of the unibody. HEHE. But it's rare to happen.

    I know of at least 5....In fact there is one on autotrader right now that had spun bearings.

    its definately a concern, no signs yet of it though.... I'll be welding in a bracing kit over the winter.
