First like to say my first MBP is amazing, so far loving OS X and MBP. But on to the good stuff.

    1. Is there any apps/plugins to change track pad gestures? I would love to be able to move to the left with two fingers to go back in a browser or something. Or at least setup a corner button or something of the nature. I don't like having to click the back button, or using a keyboard shortcut. Is there anything that would allow this?

    2. Secondly I would like to use a couple of windows apps. I have parallels, but is there a way to just install the program. Rather than installing windows and then the program. Similar to Wine in ubuntu?

    Thanks

Just tried that. I was hoping to get Quicken 08 running smoothly, it installed fine, but everytime the program refreshes the screen it took forever. I guess I will just continue RDPing into my vista box for that.

I don't think you can the set of possible gestures, just what results in you doing them.

For number one, use 3 fingers. If you use 3, it will go back a page, and 4 forward will go forward a page. :bigthumb:

For number two, check out CrossOver. It's based off of Wine
