The more you use it the more you'll like it. One program I'd recommend you looking into is Nikon Capture 4.2 if you don't already have it. For manipulating raw NEF's it's awesome. Also go to Nikon's website and download for free the latest version of Nikon View if you don't already have it.

    No, it's sold seperately.

I like your second shot the best, but perhaps it would benefit from a little more depth or field or less sharpening overall. I feel the player's head pops out a little too much, but that may just be my own personal taste :dunno:

I like the shot. I saw that it was shot at f/4. another stop down would probably bring the rest of the arm into clearer focus in respect to his head/face -- like his hand is. :dunno:

Since it's already taken, just a little extra area sharpening on the arm might help make him seem a little more uniform in focus :dunno:

I've got 4.1 and it's pissing me off. It keeps on saying that it can't find my camera when it's attached.

    Oh, here's a new shot from tonight. . .

You might need to go into the menu on your camera and switch the USB mode. That screwed me up when I first got my camera too. :o

And I really like that pic. :)

Pool shot is nice. Was it staged or active?

Like the cork too. Untouched beach sand is always nice.

Nikon Capture 4.1 doesnt work with the d-70. You need to get 4.2

Im pretty sure thats the case, i am using 4.2 and it works fine.
