I'm going to be adding subs to my Mach 460 system in the Mach I.

Looking at getting this box: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5734249853

    This amp:

    These subs:

Question is: will the amp provide enough juice to power these subs adequately? or would i need to step up to this amp? http://www.acaraudio.com/product_info.php?cPath=22_36&products_id=1140

By having these powerful subs will I be overpowing the stock system in any way?

Also, the phoenix gold website recommends the box being made of 1" MDF board where as the box on e-bay is only made of 3/4" and 5/8". Will this be a problem? If so, where could i get a box made to fit the stang made of 1" mdf?

    None of those links work.

By getting aftermarket subwoofers, you will probably have be able to turn the bass up loud enough to drown out the stock system. But that doesnt mean you have to turn the bass up that loud. You can always turn the volume control down until they blend well.

As for the enclosure, I'd say that 3/4" MDF should work just fine. The thicker the better, but there is a point of diminishing returns. Im puzzled that Phoenix Gold will reccomend 1" MDF as a minimum, as few prebuilt enclosures are made that thick, and (at least in my area) it is quite hard to find 1" MDF board to construct your own.
