I am having 2 problems with IE currently.

    1. view/source - this does nothing. I would like it to open notepad and show me the source code for the page.

    2. Saving photos - for some reason, no matter what photo I right click and Save Picture As, the only option for filetype it allows me is bitmap no matter if the image is a .jpg, .jpeg or .gif.

Both of these problems are more annoying than anything, but I figured I would ask to see if someone knew what my browsers problem is.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions,

    Gil

    1. dunno
    2. Your internet cache is full. Empty it, restart your browser and then it will be fixed.

    wolf,

I have notepad selected already there. In fact, it doesn't seem to allow any different options (wordpad, dreamweaver, homesite, etc.). Thanks for the input.

Did you try it sense you deleted you cache, that is usually caused by the same cache problem as the image saving.

Another trick to make this a little more perminent is to reduce the size of your cache.

    5Gen,

    Yes, notepad is installed.

I checked your link, and my cookies folder (Temprorary Internet Files) IS on an ntfs drive. I changed it so it is not Read Only. GUESS WHAT! IT WORKS. Thanks 5Gen!
