What exactly consitutes a hitched lift? Using your thighs? I googled "hitched deadlift" and oddly enough the first hit was a DW thread. :hsughno: The reason I ask is I went for a pull today and while I don't recall grunting like I'm constipated and bouncing the fucker off my legs, the entire pull just felt like utter shit to the point where I wouldn't feel right calling it a solid deadlift. :ugh: :hs:

Also, do people ever deadlift with a supinated grip?

    Thanks, guys :wavey:

Like this instead of a mixed grip or pronated/overhand grip.

Why would you do that? Seems like unnecessary stress on the biceps.

switch grip or hookgrip are the best for deadlifting, supinated looks like the bars just gonna roll outa your hands.
