    # 2 doesn't have anything to do with format. However it threw me because I would have answered "1/4 sec at f/11" but that wasn't one of the choices.

    You dont need to know anything about MF to answer those questions aside from knowing its larger than film.

    Lets use logic!
    If digital cameras have smaller sensors than 35mm and we get more-telephoto crop factors, what do you think will happen when the sensor is larger than 35mm?

    But thats not one of the answers :hsugh:

    f/32->f/16 = 4x the light. 1/8->1/4 = 2x
    2x4=8

    I know. I answered correctly only because what I would have put down wasn't one of the choices so I went with the next logical choice. I did the math wrong. :mamoru:

    We could start our own "professional" organization. We'll call it "PAPPO" (Photographers Against Professional Photography Organizations)

    This stuff helps to convince the masses though.

    I was talking to a friend who was looking around for wedding photopgraphers.

    Trying to point out that she should look through their work and decide based on the pics.
    All the paper credentials in the world don't mean anything if the work isn't solid.

    But her way of thinking is that the credential is some sort of "guarantee" of quality.
    Basically she doesn't trust her own taste (or has none).
    Therefore they look for the seal of approval.

    I think there's lots of these people out there, and wanting to spend $$$.
    So ... just give em what they want.

    same kind of people who rave about some shit movie based not on its own qualities, but the fact that it won an oscar.

    I dont really care as long as the cheques clear.

    :bowdown:

    Becker, a big name in the wedding world, got booted (along with thousand of others) from the WPJA, an organization that at one time did have merit, for speaking against the entrance requirements and the idiotic founder.

    he's starting www.kawpa.us this year :mamoru:

    Considering my advanced age, maybe I should change the name to PAPPA (Photographers Against Professional Photographers Associations)

    i got like 2 or 3 right :mamoru:

    I even got the MF question wrong. I figured since a 80mm on MF is like a 50mm on 35, the 300mm would provide a wider angle on a MF than the 35. So I chose smaller image size on 35. tighter crop =! smaller image size?

    The figure itself remains the same size with the same lens no matter what the format. However the lens coverage is different.
