MMA could we ever see a UFC w/o dana white as president?

    :dunno:

i know it would be as a result of a major falling out because the fertittas and dana are pals, but from the sounds of it dana is a big factor as to why fighters are seeking out other org's.

maybe replacing dana could be a good move on the ufc's part...

He is a smart businessman in a lot of ways, and not in others with his personality. I think the UFC would exist just fine without him, but I don't see it happening, since he is the face of it. He knows how to get peoples attention and sure can run a show. I'm so confused on what to think about him at times, like he's acting as his own character like fake wrestling.

part of me also wonders how much of the "bad guy" portion of him that we hear about is just him executing orders passed down to him by his higher ups.

dana vs tito is a separate issue altogether. there is definitely a 3rd side of truth to that drama.
but for the issues of fighters not being paid properly, the treatment that randy was speaking of, the exclusivity, all that im sure stems from lorenzo and frank. many times you see the owners of a business portrayed as the lovable, humanitarians that have everyones best interest at heart. and of course they have their right-hand man do the dirty work.

I wonder how much Dana makes a year not getting his face/body broken. It's probably true though, happens all the time in big business. Hell I worked for EA and they really didn't give a shit about their employees lol.

Dana has a 10% stake in Zuffa, so I'm sure he makes plenty

Dana is a DAMN good business man. The UFC has done more for MMA than all other organizations combined. Alot of that is probably Dana's doing. I doubt he is going anywhere anytime soon.

UFC is the most recongnizable brand in MMA, i don't think Dana is gonna get fired any time soon, with the $ the UFC is making he could probably rape the fertittas sister and stay in his postition

Most businesses can keep all contract negotiations out of the public eye the UFC cant nothing the UFC/Dana does is particularly bad. We are talking about big $ and Dana is there to make the UFC the most money he can.

  13. Dana is strong in a lot of ways, terrible in others. there's no profit in a public fued with tito, or things like mistreating arlovski, giving him no interviews, etc.

If Dana could get his ego out of the way and just be a professional at all times, he'd make more money.

Tito: Dana white smells bad and is an idiot.

Dana: I don't care what he says, I'm going to put him in fights and sell the PPVs. I could care less.

    = $$$$

Nah I think its smart business

Fued with Tito gets him a few articles and a bit more publicity.

Arlovski not gonna cooperate on new contract and wont be renewed why promote the guy.
