I have just recently started up with this bodybuilding phenomina of cottage cheese. However, the taste is rather bland and I was just wondering if any of you guys have developed some worth-while recipe's for this stuff?

depends if your'e eating super clean or what. I personally don't mind a little junk food here and there, so I'll crush up some cheeze-its and throw em in there, which is phenomenal because the crunchy texture it creates beats the shit out of the soupy texture of plain CC.

I've also thrown it in chilli, or just put salsa in it. Both are amazing.

I think I heard something about mixing PB in. Maybe I could mix it with PB and dip some apples in it or something

it would be boring, but at least it would improve the texture. however cottage cheese + salsa would be great for tortilla chips.

You can either mix in some jam, or you can even mix in a scoop of whey for extra taste. I eat mine plain though.

The big theme seems to be to mix it with fruit.

I think I am going to try mixing it with fruit, and also try mixing it with salsa and hot sauce and use it for dipping.

I've tried to learn to eat it, I just can't get past the taste.

I replace it with fat free light string cheese, which has around 9-10g of protein, and 80 calories per stick.

I'm a big fan of using good sized cucumber slices to dump the cottage cheese in my mouth.

My ex liked lemon pepper seasoning on it. That's why I divorced her.

The truth: You can put anything in cottage cheese and it will taste better than cottage cheese alone.

I prefer peanut butter + cottage cheese sandwich & cottage cheese + strawberry
