    1) Power Saws need to be banned, FOR THE CHILDREN.

    2) It's too bad concealed carry is banned and on one could stop the attack .

It must have been one of those pistol gripped assault saws. Imagine the HORROR and CARNAGE that would have ensued had there been an evil law abiding citizen with a ccw.

We need sensible saw control legislation NOW. I'd like to know what ROGUE power tool dealer sold this saw?

Black & Decker needs to be sued for the criminal acts committed with the THEIR power saw.

All scary features of power tools must be immediately banned, no more pistol grip cordless drills.

There needs to be a 10-day "cooling off" period for all tools sold nation wide. Sorry sir, you won't be able to pick up your new belt sander until next Thursday.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! We have much work to do to prevent this from happening in the future, but TOGETHER, I believe we can do it.

Anything over 18 volts should be OUTLAWED. 36 volt lithium-ion packs are COP KILLERS! :run:

We need to have all saw blades and drill bits equipped with electronic encryption and password protection, or else saws and drills with fingerprint scanners will be stolen for their valuable bits and blades and used to kill! :run:

You guys have made some good points but I think we need to address the issue of blade availability. Blades should be limited in quantity as well as frequency of issuance by giving ALL blades to the local PD. There should be a limit as to how many you can have at once...and when you dull one, you have to turn it in to get a new one.

But people will just start forging their own blades. :noes:

Besides. If they ever did somehow get rid of cordless saws criminals would just go to guns or knives.

All civilian power tools should be limited to single oscillation. NO ONE needs a fully automatic power tool.

Also, only carpenters should be able to buy saws. Regular people have NO need for saws.

I completely disagree, carpenters should not be able to own them. Only the government and military should have saws.
