How would i do this?
Does it cost anything?
Info or experiences appreciated.
One of the cheapest and easiest ways of doing this is to take a print, put it in an envelope and mail it to yourself. When you get it back, do not open it. Just keep it. This way you have a sealed envelope with the date printed on it. If anyone down the road decided to use that photo, you can call them on it.
As soon as you create something it's copyrighted by you. It's registering the copyright that cost $. $30 a pop for visual arts.
And that's all there is to it.
What about if somehow someone gets a hold of an image before i get a chance to put the copyright symbol on it?
Anything you save.. is copyrighted. That's the strength, and complete downfall, of computers.
you don't need to put any symbol on it. you created it, therefore you are it's sole owner.
