I have a 4.3 GB file made from Adobe Premiere. Exported to D: hard drive. I have another internal 200GB 8MB Cache Maxtor drive and an external 160GB 8MB Cache Maxtor drive via firewire for back up purpose. When I copy the file to the external drive, it only takes about 4-5 minutes. However, when I try to copy the same file onto the internal 200GB drive, it will take twice as long. Any thoughts why this would be? Drives are both NTFS and DMA enabled.

you probably have both drives on the same IDE channel because only 1 IDE device can work on a channel at one time

Yeah, the 200 GB is hooked up as slave. And yes, it is ATA133.
